Business Solar Check, operated by Known by One, LLC ("we", "our", "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

What we collect

When you request a survey we collect your company name, contact name, phone, email, site postcode, roof details and current energy bill, plus basic technical data (approximate location from your IP address, stored only as a one-way hash, browser type, and referring page) to prevent spam and understand where enquiries come from.

How we use it

We use your details to produce your estimate and, when you ask us to book a survey, to introduce you to a vetted commercial solar installer that covers your area. We do not sell your data. We only share it with an installer when you request a survey.

Lawful basis

We process your enquiry on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in connecting you with a relevant installer. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use analytics cookies only after you accept them via the cookie banner. You can reject them and the site still works.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, at any time by emailing contact@businesssolarcheck.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
